Initially, I underestimated its value until I subsequently reacquired it and rediscovered its incredible capabilities. The SY85 is lauded for its exceptional pads, synths, strings, and leads that remain competitive even against contemporary synths. The library curated pays homage to these lush sounds, ensuring they are well represented.

Utilizing modern synthesis techniques within our Pure Synth® architecture, we have greatly enhanced the sound potential beyond the limitations of the original hardware. A noteworthy improvement includes a sophisticated monophonic/glide mode that is not found in the original model. Additionally, our updated effects allow for multiple processing chains, overcoming the constraints of the hardware. Regardless of your choice between the Pure Synth® Expansion or the Standalone UI, you will enjoy a comprehensive SY-85 experience.
